Booking & Cancellation Policy

At The Lavender Lounge, every appointment is carefully scheduled to allow space, presence, and attention for each client. These policies are in place to respect both your time and ours, and to ensure a seamless, professional experience for everyone.
Acknowledgement of Agreement
By booking an appointment at The Lavender Lounge, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to all booking and cancellation policies outlined below.
These policies are non-negotiable and in place to protect the time, energy, and care that goes into each service.
Failure to comply may result in appointment refusal, cancellation, or loss of future booking privileges.
Booking Fee
To secure your appointment, a non-refundable 50% booking fee is required.
This fee will be deducted from your total service cost and must be paid at the time of booking.
Appointments are confirmed only once the booking fee is received.
Should you need to reschedule within the cancellation window, your booking fee will be held as a credit and carried over once to a future appointment. Refunds on booking fees are not offered.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
I kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling.
- Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in the loss of your booking fee.
- A new booking fee will be required to secure a future appointment.
- If you cancel within 12 hours or fail to communicate, 100% of the service fee will apply.
These policies are not personal — they are essential for maintaining a small, client-focused business.
No-Shows
Clients who fail to attend their appointment without notice will:
• Forfeit their booking fee
• Be required to pay the full service fee before rebooking
• Risk being declined for future appointments
Late Arrivals
If you are running late, please notify me as soon as possible.
Arrivals over 10 minutes late may require adjustments to the service to fit the remaining time or may be cancelled. Full payment may still be required.
Nail Health Requirements
Please do not attend your appointment if you are experiencing:
- Nail infections, lifting, bruising, or discolouration
- Fresh wounds, cuts, or broken skin around your nails
- Known or suspected fungal infections
These conditions require medical clearance before any nail services can proceed.
If you arrive with any of the above, I reserve the right to refuse the service and full payment may still be required.
Health & Safety
The Lavender Lounge is a private home studio. For insurance and safety reasons:
- Please attend your appointment alone and notify me if you're arriving early or late.
- Clients must enter through the back door only.
Allergies & Reactions
Please inform me of any known allergies or previous reactions before your appointment.
Although reactions are rare and products are chosen with care, The Lavender Lounge does not accept responsibility for unexpected sensitivities.
In the event of a reaction, seek medical advice immediately and notify me as soon as possible.
Sickness Policy
If you’re feeling unwell, please contact me to reschedule.
The salon is part of my home, and I appreciate your help in maintaining a safe and healthy environment for everyone.
Appointment Rescheduling Limit
Your original booking can be rescheduled up to two times.
If a third reschedule is requested, a new booking fee will be required.
Payment Options
Payment is due at the end of your appointment.
Accepted forms: Cash, EFT/Bank Transfer, or Card.
Please note: Card transactions incur a 2% processing fee.
Refund Policy
Refunds are not offered for booking fees or completed services.
You’ll be asked during your appointment if you're happy with your service — please use this opportunity to communicate any adjustments you'd like. Once the service is complete, all sales are final.
Aftercare & Repairs
You’ll receive aftercare guidance in the salon and via email or Instagram after your appointment. It is your responsibility to follow this advice to maintain results.
Repairs within 48 hours due to application flaws (e.g., lifting, surface issues) will be fixed at no cost.
Repairs beyond this window or caused by external damage (e.g., breaking, picking, staining, or incorrect aftercare) will incur a standard repair fee.

By booking a service, you acknowledge and accept that:
- You have disclosed relevant health information to the best of your knowledge
- You understand that nail treatments carry minimal but possible risks, including irritation or allergic reaction
- Aftercare is essential to maintaining results, and failure to follow the provided guidance may affect longevity or appearance of your enhancements
The Lavender Lounge will not be held liable for damage resulting from misuse, failure to follow aftercare, or external factors post-treatment
